CELEBRATING PROMOTION OF NEW CENTRE MANAGER, CHARLIE

This week, we sadly said goodbye to Tamara Collins, who has been Centre Manager at Clip ‘n Climb Cambridge since 2019, and with the company since day 1.  We wish her all the best for the future, and thank her for the incredible work she has done while working at the centre.

However, we are also celebrating the promotion of Charlie Norris to the role of Centre Manager.  Charlie has worked for Clip ‘n Climb Cambridge since 2019, starting as a part-time member of the Climbing Team, and working his way up the ranks as Supervisor, then Climbing Manager, followed by the role of Deputy Centre Manager.

Charlie has always been into sport, playing tennis and football at School. He progressed to Cambridge Regional College, completing the Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Sport Coaching and Development.

Charlie wanted to stay within the world of sport for his career. His coaching skills have been used throughout his time at Clip ‘n Climb Cambridge.

Charlie comments:

“I really like working with our returning climbers, especially those in our Rock Stars or NICAS programmes.  It’s great to see them progress week by week, and I enjoy the 1:1 coaching that we can give.

Throughout his time at Clip ‘n Climb Cambridge, Charlie has taken more responsibility, initially connected to the climbing arena, but in recent months, with the centre as a whole. He works closely with our team at our sister centre, Climb Quest Milton Keynes, to give the best to our customers."
